A New Little Addition for George & Sheila

Hi There!!!!

One of my brothers, George and my wonderful sister-in-law, Sheila are having a baby shower June 28th, and of course I would like to make them a congratulation on the new cutie pie addition and I couldn't wait to meet him or her.

Since they don't know what to know if it is a boy or a girl...I thought hey! Let's make a card that's fun and sunny and joyful, so I thought about the Zoo Babies stamp set and wanted to do like a scenery, this way I can add any colors and I just love All Abloom DSP Stack - so I used a few sheet of each designs to create the hills. It was super fun to make and I topped it off with a little cute sunshine from the Hostess Hello Love stamp set and some white felt paper to create the puffy cute fun clouds.

And hehe outdoorsie!!!! hehe I am already planning in my mind where to take the new little addition...hiking and to the zoo and with my other little baby nephew Logan too...of course anyone who wants to join! Keep them active. =) and and and AND this one is going to be in the month of July!!! That's my birth month...we are going to get super-duper along (hopefully keke)....So here goes...

Monterey Bay Aquarium Mini Album...A Day To Remember

Hi There,

So....a few weeks ago, Jeff and I went to the Aquarium at Monterey Bay. It was actually my first time there. Yes yes, it's only 3 hours away from where I live and I've always wanted to go for years, so we did on May 30th!! Woohoo!!!! It was soooo neat!!!! Just how they built the structure of the place and everything was all nicely laid out! I even touched a stingray!!! Never thought I would have the guts to do that! Everything was just sooo cute and sooo pretty!!! The penguins, the fish, oooh the fishes.....ooh sooo cute!!! and I did find NEMO too! hehe the big sharks, the jelly fishes, ooh sooo pretty and sooo many more beauty of the ocean! Ocean creatures are just sooo beautiful, nature itself is - that's why I really enjoy hiking hehe. We were running and checking the aquarium out like two little kids running back and forth. It was a lot of fun and we made sure we stopped by every little thing ;) And we couldn't ask for the perfect weather, not too cold not to warm, JUST PERFECT! So what does that has to do with me blah-ing? hahaha

It has to do with EVERYTHING...As I was looking though the photos of how much fun we had, I was like...HEY!!! Let's remember this moment!!!! What's the best way to do so, create a mini album or scrapbooking! But since I've always wanted to learn to make a mini album, it was the best approach!!! =)

So I used the "Stack the Deck Album" approach (check it out here to learn the technique HERE), to give that extra room on the spine for me to create the album into more details...I kept it at 5.5" x 4.5" so I can maximize the use of 8 1/2" x 11" card stock by cutting it in halves. I also want to write about how much fun and add extra photos but didn't want to add extra pages, so I created extra pockets. To create this, I simply folded the 8 1/2" x 11" into 5.5" x 4.5" and used the circle frame lit place it in the center by only ran half way through the Big Shot.  I actually wanted to make this a simple album, but hehe it went down the drain....so here's what I did....

I love all the new stamp sets, papers, colors, just everything on the new Stampin' Up Catalog and with all the new fun stuff, it was PERFECT to document how much fun we had. And for a very long time, I really want to personally create something to tell him how much I do appreciate him. I really do appreciate all the people in my life and he is one of few who haha is stuck being in my life keke. And since his birthday is coming up too (July 19th), I wanted to also add this to his gift as well. It's a way for both of us to look back and remember the good times we spent together.

I had a lot of fun making this!!! I love spending hours creating things for people who I know super-duper appreciate it - just like Jeff. =) So it was worth spending hours creating this and I just LOVE how it turned out too (hehe I actually want to keep it for myself lolz)!!!

Thanks again Jeff for a wonderful time at the aquarium! For all the years I've always wanted to check it out, thanks for making it happen. It was super-duper fun and relaxing. I had such a blast! =) IT REALLY WAS A DAY TO REMEMBER....05.30.14 =)

And hopefully, I'll continue to document my life with my family, closest friends, events, etc...=) So one day when I'm old, I want to be able to look back and actually remember what happened. =)

Thanks for dropping by!!!

Love always, SMILE!!!

Aquarium 30th Bday (Jeff's 30th!)

Hi There,

Today I want to share with you a good friend of mine who will be turning the big 30 in July 19th! Mr. Jeff Kincaid II!!!! =) We've become very good friends over the past two or so years. He helped me through a lot and hear me out when I needed a friend. And through those times, let's just said it was the toughest time I've had with all the things going on...and now, thanks to him and my family and a lot of my other closest friend, I've learned to be my happy perkie self again and start doing things I enjoy doing...spending good times with my family and friends and meeting new people and exploring the crazy crafty life and hiking! So I want to tell him how much I appreciate having him in my life so I want to personally make him his first big 30 birthday card. =)

On May 30th, Jeff and I went to the Aquarium at Monterey Bay...and since we had such a good time, I thought I'll make a little Aquarium Theme Birthday Card for him. His birthday isn't until July 19th, but we're exchanging gifts and celebrating each other's bday a month early ;) and I will actually be at the Stampin' Up Convention (can't wait!)....so here goes.....

[--Front of the card--]

I thought it'll be cute to create the cake using "waves" and the beach like feel and stay tune tomorrow if you like to see more aquarium inspirations....Here's a closer look...

I really do want to tell him how AWESOME he is =) and there is really no limit to his awesomeness =) This stamp from the Stampin' Up! Big News says it perfectly!!!

It was sooo super-duper fun to create things for someone you care deeply about. =) And I love love love giving it to someone who appreciate it as well.
Happy Awesome
30th Birthday Jeff!!!

Hope you liked it =) Thanks for being SOOOOO AWESOME!!! ;)

Baby Is Almost Here Invitation for George & Sheila

Hi There,

Happy Friday!!! Today feature a fun DIY Baby Invitation for one of my brothers, George Hoang and his wife, Sheila Hoang. They're expecting sometime in July - THE PERFECT MONTH!! hehe not because it's my birthday (it is hehe), but that means maybe this one will love love LOVE me even more so all my siblings will be jealous keke and hey, this one might share the same birthday as me too - How cool would that be!?!

So, since they don't want to find out the sex of the baby, they decided they want a pastel clothespin theme. I love these cute little clothespin and when I think of clothespin, I think of banner and what's a cute banner to use?! DUH hehe, the Banner Punch - one of my favorites!!! So then I was like, hey! Let's mix up the colors and oh boy I was glad I did. They're all the same layout, but they look different in their own ways. Love love love them! And I just adore the SU! Something for Baby stamp set that coordinate with SU! Baby's First Framelits - I couldn't ask for a better pair!!!

I created the layout using Adobe Illustrator and printed everything with my 10 years old printer - works like a pro! I kept it simple enough to recreate in one night, including designing....so here goes...

[Here's all 4 side-by-side]

[Here's each one individually....]

I had a lot of fun designing and hand making these invitations for them. I hope they like it as much as I love it. And I can't wait to meet my little cutie pie niece/nephew - another wonderful cute addition to our big wonderful Hoang Family ;)

Thanks for dropping by!!! Have a fun wonderful rest of tonight. ;)
