Stampin' Up Truly Grateful

Hello Everyone,

Happy THANKSGIVING!!! Gobble Gobble Gobble!!! I hope everyone had a wonderful thanksgiving. I sure did with my wonderful loud down to earth family! My mom made O-M-G turkey, with the help of one for my brother, Charlie. Phew, we almost actually didn't get a turkey, but oh man, what is a thanksgiving without one?!? what were we thinking…

To thank this wonderful day, I made three Truly Thankful cards with Stampin' Up Truly Grateful (131733) make sure you get it before the end of this year, it might not be a stamp set that will carry over. I also used the Gently Falling (123804), this is a really super nice stamp set that I highly recommend getting. Look at these beautiful fall leaves it create

Can you believe the power of stamps?!? and it's super nice to have coordinating card stocks and inks and that's what Stampin' Up is super knowing for and will help you with all your craft headaches on trying to coordinate the right colors.

SUPER-DUPER sooo oooh soo beautiful. I used my favorite fall colors...the yellows, the reds, the browns and a little green...I just love fall colors...soooo preeeetttty!!!! It's

Here's a closer look of each cards and I will continue to try to decorate the inside too to give that card a completeness and my little signature. I couldn't find any mini small stickers for fall, so I used animals icon, hope that's okay.

Hope you enjoy today's posting!

Stampin' Up Ho Ho Ho Reindeer

Hello There!

Oh man, THIS WAS SOOO FUN to make!!! I love those jingle-ling bells!!! Hehe

If I sound super excited please excuse me. I want to announce and remind you that starting today is the STAMPIN’ UP HOLIDAY SALE!!! Don’t miss out on savings on top of savings!!! There are tons of good sales you don’t want to miss out!!!

And for today's posting...Super-duper duper excited to share with you today’s Stampin’ Up (SU) Ho Ho Ho Reindeer card. This card was super easy to make, just required some time and some technical difficulty on tying the green bow with the red and white twine (Well for me it did), so I hope it looks okay.

The Stampin’ Up Color Me Christmas (131742/131745) stamp set is super cool and fun stamp set to use. I used the cute little reindeer, because I wanted to add a cute little red pom pom on his cute little nose. I stamped the reindeer on SU whisper white cardstock using SU soft suede ink pad, then used SU blender pen and markers to color him and highlighted areas where I felt needed. Then used my glue gun to put the cute pom pom on his cute little nose and added dimension stickers behind it.

And for the fun challenge – not really a challenge, but it was fun. I always saw these cute little jingly-jingle bells and always wanted to incorporate them on my Christmas card, so I was like, why not on this card.

Opps I got ahead of myself…hehe first I used SU retired Holiday Treasure designer series paper. Added a strip with SU Scallop Trim Border (118402) using SU whisper white cardstock and wrapped the red and white twine vertically it over and over and over, grabbed the bow I tied earlier and tied a knot using the red/white twine. Then added the bells and tied a bow to add those two cute jingly jingles bells. To make sure it’s secured, I used some SU sticky tape around the twines areas, added a green ribbon and then adhered it on SU retired Moss Green cardstock and adhered that to SU crumb cake base card.

Now for the fun details to pull the cards together. Used SU Ovals Collection frame lits (129381), sponged the sides and used SU marker to add the red strips around the oval die cut and added some dimension, placed it under the cute little bow jingle bells I just created. Then added the sentiment “Merry Christmas” and added the cute reindeer I just created. Of course I had to add some rhinestone, which I did on all four corners of the card.

Here's a closer look...

Still not complete!!! So, the inside of the card, I always felt my card isn’t completed...I know once in a while I do decorate the inside, but I always find it super time consuming, but you know what, if I kept it simple enough, it shouldn’t be a problem. So let’s try it from now on…

For the inside, I love sentiment and/or a nice cute little message. So I used SU Deco Labels Collection (13102) ran it through my Big Shot using SU crumb cake cardstock and whisper white stamped with “Thinking of you and wishing you the happiest season ever” using SU More Merry Message (126402) stamp set. Also pull some of the card design in – like the twine wrapping and the green ribbon and also ran the SU whisper white cardstock using SU Perfect Polka Dots (117335).

AND then for the other inside of the card, I thought it’ll be nice to stamp just the outline of the reindeer and not color it. I didn’t want the reindeer to be lonely, so I added “Ho Ho Ho” using SU Oh, Goodie (131886/131889) and to contrast it, I used SU Real Red ink pad.

Hope you like it…

We’re not done…hehe

I always get asked, how come you don’t add your little signature…so from now on and I’m going to try to remember to add my little signature. And with my signature, I usually add a cute little sticker next to it. I saw these cute stickers at Target (oh I love target!!) and was so excited to use them too! They’re just sooooo dang cute!!! LoOOoooooOkie...Here’s my signature...

Hope you enjoyed today’s posting! I’m like all hyped up today!!!

Stampin’ Up A Merry Christmas Cottage

Hi There!!!

I pulled out my Christmas Lodge from Stampin’ Up and stamped it SU whisper white cardstock and started coloring it. First I just wanted to color it brown (using markets and blender pen) then it looked so boring…haha so I colored/outlined the trims in red, it made a huge differences. As I was doing that, I wanted to dazzle the snow, so I used Stampin’ Up dazzling. As I was doing that, I was like…hmmm..it’ll be a good idea to cut it out and add a “snowing” background using Polka dot emboss folder from Stampin’ Up and liquid pearl-ed each dots. THEN I was thinking, maybe I should frame it, so I created a frame using one of Spellbinder die cut. Then used Stampin’ Up Retired Jolly Holiday Designer Series Paper – it’s one of my favorite holiday papers because it’s the simplicity of the paper that I love plus, it really screams out CHRISTMAS. Sadly it’s a retired paper, BUT Stampin’ Up always out-do-itself and creates wonderful Christmas (as well as others) designer series papers I always can’t wait to get my hands on. Then added a little trim on top of the card with a nice silver ribbon.

Then finished it with More Merry Message stamp set from Stampin’ Up sentiment “a very merry Christmas to you….” This stamp set has a lot of good choices if you are looking for great Christmas sentiment varieties. And a snowflake punch from Mathra Stewart with a rhinestone. AND of course, can't forget to add a bow, so I added a nice green color satin bow and some liquid pearls and of course more pearls!!!

Here’s a closer look of the card…

Super fun and exciting card to make!!! Hope you are all making and thinking about christmas like me! and super excited about it too.

Thank you sooooOOOo super duper much for dropping by!!!

Stampin' Up Fa La La La Christmas

Hello there=)

As I was going over my stack of Christmas stamps, I noticed the Stampin’ Up Season of Joy, a retired stamp set and decided to use this stamp to create a card. When I was looking at it, I was thinking of elves, so I thought I’ll somewhat create an “elf-looking theme/color” card. Not sure if it worked or not, but hope it did.

For this card, I used Stampin’ Up cardstock Gumball Green and used a large scallop border and if I remembered correctly elves sock is usually green and has red strips, so I thought why not throw in some strips!!! Always come in handy, Stampin’ Up Designer Series paper, threw some of those in the background and then a different one and added a Spellbinder die cut, added some other embellishment, rhinestones, twines and ribbon and used some liquid pearls and all done! I thought it’ll be nice to track the leaves with liquid pearls – hope you guys liked it. Then I used the distress tool and distressed all around where I wanted the distressed to go. It was actually super fun doing that, but when you do that, make sure to have a little trash can underneath, because it did create a little mess.

Here's a little closer look for the details....

Stampin' Up Jolly Santa

Hello There!!!

So, I know I haven’t been posting (horrible me), but a lot has been going on. So I’m gearing back up again. I am somewhat settled in my apartment (still super mess), but I finally got my crafting room laid out the way I want it to and it’s a little more functional after moving it around 2-3 times (and might be moving some other things around - it's probably another excuse of mine to make more room and buy more Stampin' Up supplies hehe). I really like my apartment, it’s super quiet, but at the same time...I really miss living with my family too. Miss my loud family and miss waking up seeing them and how much fun they are. But hey, they are just a few minutes away and I always see them a few times every week. Can’t wait to really start setting in and clean and decorate and be in my crafting room more often!!!!

So…let’s get into the fun things!!!! CRAFTING!!!!

It’s almost the wonderful time of the year, CHRISTMAS!!!! Well, Thanksgiving first, but hehe I couldn’t help to want to make some Christmas cards – couldn’t wait!!! Christmas is one of the most wonderful time of the year – gathering with my wonderful family and great time with friends.

I was having so much fun using Stampin’ Up Santa’s List (131808/131811). =) It was addicting to see how jolly and happy Santa Claus is and of course it’s always sooo much fun making cards overall.

This one was super fun to make. I decided to give Santa some color, so I colored Santa using the Stampin’ Up blender pens (102845) and markers - SUPER fun to do so!!! Used some Stampin' up cardstock papers and a cute little red ribbon and wah-lah! And I saw the “Jolly Christmas” sentiment a retired Stampin’ Up No Peeking stamp set and the word “Jolly” reminds me of Santa’s jolly personality – so this sentiment fits perfect. Added a lot of different embellishment using some Stampin' Up punches, Martha Stewarts punches, and Spellbinder die cuts. Using my Big Shot and Stampin' Up embossing folders to create the snowflakes background. I wanted to give the background some more little details, so I used liquid pearls and dotted each snowflake background - so it looks like it is sprinkling. And of course, it needs a cute little bow - that's a must - and of course it was added!!! I did however did a little boo boo...as you can tell there's some red stain on the "jolly christmas" =( but hopefully it doesn't affect the card =(

Here's a closer look (although it zoomed in my mistake =(...sorry, but thanks for understanding *sniff sniff*)

I hope you enjoyed today’s Santas’ posting as much as I enjoyed making these. I’m going to be christmas card crazy posting.

Thank you for dropping by!!!
