Invitation: Baby Shower

Goodie Morning Everyone!!!

Again, sorry for not keeping up!!! Just too much to do during this time of the year!!!! But I am enjoying it, just been running around like a chicken!!!

Happy to share these adorable invitations I've been working on and hopefully my sister's coworker Annie likes them.  She asked me to make her a baby shower invitation for her brother who is expecting twins - Allison and Brook (what adorable names right?!?) and such exciting news!!!

I made it into two different colors to represent one of each but in the center of each onsies are two adorable hand stamped baby to represent the newborns!!!  For the information I printed it out as there were specific information on the card.  The baby shower theme was lady bugs so I created two cute lady bugs inside the invitation.  I also used polka dots because lady bugs just reminds me of polka dots - and accent it with some black paper and red polka dots patterns.

Thanks for dropping by!!!

Stampin' Up: Blossom Christmas

Hello again!! LOVING today!!!! Feel so creative today! I wanted to make sure I am sharing as many variations and ideas with you all! I really like this set a lot! I am still learning how to use the markers better, but not too bad right? Hopefully it does look like I did a decent job.

For this card, I used the Bells and Boughs Stamp Set, it's a very pretty stamp sets.  I love the vintage look and I love how I can also use my Stampin' Up markers to give it some dimensions.

I also lovethe  Christmas Greeting Stamp Set, the Merry Christmas stamp makes it looks like someone has hand written "Merry Christmas" on the card giving it a more personal touch.

Hope you all are having a great Friday so far!

Thank you so much for dropping by!

Stampin' Up: And Many More to Come..

Hello again!

Just got done with this Christmas card and loving it.  Just couldn't stay away from Season of Joy and Petite Pairs stamp sets! This set is extremely fun to put together and just love how the ribbons looks! Hope for those who came to my class 2/3 weeks ago are using the ruffle ribbon technique. It is truly a fun way to give your ribbon a little twist! Please note, the ruffle ribbon idea was not my original idea, I saw it on this other site (sorry cannot remember which site) and attempted it.

Going to continue to make more Christmas cards! I'm going to post more up this weekend! Check back soon for more ideas! Feel free to show me some of your creative Christmas cards by leaving a comment! Would love to see what you came up with.

Enjoy today! I'm so glad today is Friday and the weekend will be full of fun and excitement. One of my many projects for this month and my attempt is to finish a diaper cake for my brother, George and my sister-in-law Sheila!! Oh, I am going to have so much fun!!! =)

Thanks for dropping by!

Happy Birthday Bling Card

Good Morning Everyone!

Today is one of my nieces' bday - Missy. Kayla Cen!!! Happy Birthday to her!!! She is turning 11 today and I'm so excited that today I'm off at work so I was able to stay up a little to finish her card! I do sure hope she likes it!!! =) I know I might had went a little crazy with the "blings", but I just wanted this card to sparkles!! Hopefully I accomplished it!! =) Can't wait for my family to sign the card, it always adds a layer of icing to the card.

This card was fun to make, not only because I love turquoise/blue-ish and brown, but that's my niece's favorite color!!! My niece is also a fun and cheerful person, so I wanted to make this card shine like she does. And Stampin' Up helped me find the prefect phrase by using the Create a Cupcake stamp set.

Hope you all like it! Thank you so much for dropping by. Can't wait for tonight's dinner to celebrate my niece's bday with the Loud Hoangs!

Stampin Up: More Christmas Cards!!!

Hello again!!!

Sorry, I was about to import more ideas this morning; however, I had my camera and of course I forget to bring the cords to import it! Forgetful me as always...=) But hope I'm forgiven because that was the first thing I did when I came home.

I hope you guys are filled with excitement as Christmas comes closer!!! I know I AM THRILLED AND CANNOT WAIT!!! I just love that time of the year and every where I go I fall in love with all the decorations! It just makes me want to stay in my warm crafting room and craft all day! =)

I hope you guys get a chance to check out Stampin' Up Holiday Mini catalog because it is full of surprises, stamp sets, papers, especially ideas.  Saw these cute stocking stamp set and of course just had to get the stamp set along with the punch.  For this particular card, I used the Stitched Stockings stamp set along with the Stocking Builder puncher which made it so much easier to make this card.  Oh let's not forget the Petite Pairs, it is really a MUST HAVE!!! =) Got it and used it almost on all my cards!!! I can always find the prefect pair to add a little addition to my card. Hope you like the card. =)

Here's another card. I just love this Christmas tree A LOT!!! It's from the Season of Joy stamp set.  I can say this is one of my stamp set from Stampin' Up for two years since I bought it and I've put it in good used. Love the tree with the swirls in the tree.

That's all for today! I will be posting something tomorrow as well! Stop by again!!!

Thank you for dropping by! Hope you all had a wonderful week so far!

Love Mui =)

Stampin' Up: Christmas Trees!

Hi Everyone!

Finally!!! I'm posting (AGAIN!!) two christmas trees cards and will be posting two more cards in a few hours! After that I am going to be posting a mini project that I am going to be putting together for my "mini-adult" niece (attempting it tomorrow night!) Shh!!! It's a birthday gift for her 11th birthday.  She is so sweet and she loves my cards =) So check back soon for more ideas!! I will also be posting plenty of other cards and hopefully projects this coming up weekend as I try to tackle many of projects on my list!

Here are two Christmas trees I fell in love with on the new Holiday Mini Catalog and don't miss out on ordering them.  All Holiday Mini Catalog Items if not ordered by January 3 you might not be able to purchase ever as they are only available during a certain time period.

For the below cards, I used stamp set Christmas Lodge and Bright Hopes that I need to get my hands on! I just love Christmas trees and love how adding some blinds on it makes it stands out so much!!! And I LOVE Stampin' Up they are always creating beautiful stamps sets to help you create your cards!

Hope you like these cards! And look this time i didn't put any liquid pearls. =) Don't worry, my next two cards there will be liquid pearls - just can't live without it.

I hope you all are enjoying making all your wonderful creative Christmas cards. I'm so glad Stampin' Up carries a large amount of Christmas stamp sets to help me create these wonderful cards! =)

Thanks for stopping by!

My Apologize!!!

Hi All,

Happy Monday after a nice weekend with your family! I want to send out my apology for not updating my sites as promised weekly! I have been working on a few cards so i'll be posting them soon! I haven't had the time to set up a class yet but I will try to.

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner with your family, friends and loved ones! I know I did. I had THREE Thanksgiving dinners! It was full of fun and laughter! Got to love my family and my extended family as well! My first dinner was with my LOUD HOANG family on Thanksgiving Eve and oh gosh it was so yummie and on top of that it was extremely so fun! Given that my family is super fun to be around with! =)

And the fun didn't stop there! On the actual day, my fiancé and I had another Thanksgiving dinner, more like a lunch with my fiancé's family.  We didn't have a traditional turkey-giving meal but it was delicious.  Nothing bet a nice warm Hot Pot! I ate so much because the soup was super delicious!!!

After that, we headed over to my brother's house George! Oh, it was a yummie day and it was my brother's first time cooking the turkey too!! There were again tons of decilious food!! I was super stuffed already but man, everything looked so good!!! Couldn't stop eating! Felt like i gain 10 pounds!!!

I am so grateful for my family!!! Not just for the good yummie food but for all the laughter and fun we all had!!! Love this time of the year!

Oh and then our family's vacation to Disneyland.  If you never been to Disneyland, you really have to go there to watch the "World of Colors" it was AMAZING!!!  And Disneyland IS the best place on earth!!! =P It was also my parents' first time going and one of my brother, Phillip! We all had so much fun and man, there were a lot of walking because we wanted to catch all the showing and make sure we sat on the rides we wanted to go on!!! I wish we had one more day to enjoy Disneyland a little slower because on our second day all we did was going back and forth to catch everything we wanted to catch!  Hopefully next year my brother George's family will join us so we can have 100% full power of LOUDEST HOANG!!

I better get going. I'm going to do some touch up on the cards and I'll be posting it up beginning of this week. I PROMISE I'll post something up.

And also check back weekly or maybe two or three days later after the next post as I will try to post more ideas for Christmas! I have tons of ideas but I just need to find the time for it to do what I want to do for the rest of my life...CRAFTING!!!

Stay Tune!!! Thank you so much for dropping by!

Hugs! Mui =)

Congrats It's a Boy!!!

Hi Everyone,

Exciting News!! My brother, George Hoang and my sister-in-law, Sheila Hoang finally announced that they will be having a little boy!! I was right!!! Woo Hoo!!! They are expecting my lil nephew in late-Jan/early-Feb of next year!!! I'll be having another nephew!!! So excited to share this with everyone! Can't wait until he is born to introduced him to the "Hoang" family or some may say the "Loud" family!!!

I wanted to create "hopefully" not too girly card - as I always find it very changeling not to create a card that's not too girly, so please tell me I succeed! I tried if I didn't. =(  And since we are the "Loud Hoang" family when it comes to writing, we don't hold back. So I wanted to created a card with plenty of space for all of us to put our little congrats thoughts together to congrats them. That's where the "tags idea" (which i did the other day) came into place! Instead of creating a card that folds, I thought why not create a card with a little pouch that holds little wishes and happiness.

Here's the front of the card....

and here's a closer look at the front of the card...

...and the inside of the card as well as when you take the "tags" out of the card.

Hope you like it! Let me know what you think! Can't wait for him to be born!!! YAY!!!

Happy Retirement Mini Album Card

Hi There!!!

Today I am featuring a "Happy Retirement Mini Album Card". I was scratching my head on how to approach it because there will be a group of people who want to wish her the best of luck, thank her for being the sweetest supervisor and friend, and to tell show their appreciation. I wanted it to be very special and I want to make sure there will be plenty of room for them to write on, so what is a good way to do that...A MINI ALBUM CARD!!!  After trying to come up with a plan, I started to grab all the supplies...punches and stamp sets, ink pads, ribbons, etc. And I'm pretty happy with the results!!!

I created this mini album card using different stamp set throughout the album and on the front I combined two different stamp set sentiment.  I really love how amazing Stampin' Up sentiments stamp sets ties together so well! Don't you just love all those warm cool sentiments?!? And let's not forget the punches!! They are just amazing!!! I love the Stampin' Up heart punch a lot, it just tied everything in so well.  And the card stock papers and designer series paper! And the buttons!!! Embellishments as well!! and Oh gosh I might had went a little crazy on the glitters, but it just added that extra spark!!!

Here is a peak of the when you open the album card.

And here's it features the first two pages.  Look at how well the punches and stamps coordinate with each other. And each bottom decorations has it own sentiments.

The 3rd and 4th page, I wanted the 4th page as a breaking point from the continuation of the bottom design.

Then I continued the bottom decorations on the fifth and sixth pages.

I hope you enjoyed today's project a lot!  Thank you so much for stopping by! Leave a comment and tell me what you think!
Please stop by Sunday for a course project preview kit that I will be hosting on August 27 at 11:00.  Contact me for more information. I would love to see you!

Stampin' Up: Kimono Birthday Card

Here it goes my first uploaded card.  This card I has such a blast making it.  It was my first attempt that I told myself that I will continue to start making my family a birthday card.  So what's a good month to start it...JULY since it's my birth month!  I am not that silly to make a card for myself, this card is for my sister Lien.  I used the retired Kimino Kids Stamp Set from Stampin' Up because the Kimino girl reminded me so much of my sister when she smiles - they both have that "Moon Eyes" as I call it.  Hope you enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed making it.

My First Post

I am finally going to attempt to start a blog about crafting and pretty nervous but very excited to share some of the creations I've been working on.  Just want to start expressing my passion and share my knowledge with many crafters out there. Not going to post any work just up yet, but will soon.  I am still figuring things out but am very excited about getting started.  Stay Tune!
