Stampin Up Sunny Happy Birthday

Hi Everyone,

Summer started!!! And all the cute kids (my nieces and nephews) are on summer break! So I thought I’ll make a sunny birthday card because one of my close friend's bday is coming up (JENNIFER!!!). Even though it actually passed. I didn't want to post it until I gave it to her (didn't want to ruin the surprise). hehe

For this card, I wanted to create a “bright” card that represent how sunny and nice and warm the Jennifer is. She is always so caring and just like the flower's on the side (noticed there's three - Representing Herself, Sy, and Me). We've been friends for years, we're middle/high school friends since then. We always celebrate each other's bday and gather around this time. I hope she enjoyed this card as much as I want to tell her how very special and wonderful she is....she is pretty much a sunshine. =)

Here’s what I came up with….

Hope you enjoyed today’s posting. Thank you so much for dropping by!!!

Stampin' Up Paris Cards

Hi Everyone!!!

For this project, I created two cards using Stampin’ Up  Papaya Collage Clear-Mount Stamp Set (126612) and Postage Due Clear-Mount StampSet (126397). These are such fun stamp sets that works great together, especially to give that Vintage look. I used the Postage Due stamp as a background for the Papaya Collage frame. It gives that same look and feel.

I love how well these two stamps work together and since the Papaya Collage came with a cute little Eiffel Tower, why  not give these cards some nice Paris look. When I think of Paris, I think of romance, a place where people fall in love and a place where people would love to visit (I know I would love to visit Paris one day!).

Here's a closer look of this card....

Since I like this card so much but wanted a different feel and look, I decided to recreate it using the same concept and materials but adding a few more elements to it and also angle the frame and just by doing these few adjustment gave it a different look and feel. Since I always want to visit Paris, I thought it would be cute to add a little “picture frame” with heart.

For the Eiffel Tower, I dazzled it with Stampin' Up Dazzling Details (124117). I also tried to incorporate as many “hearts” as much as possible, since Paris is always fluttered with love. I think it also gave that little extra touch of love and gave the card a little more contrast with a little pink hearts here and there.

It was so much fun to create these cards with these lovely stamp sets. I can’t wait to create more fun cards!

Thank you for dropping!!! Keep checking for more fun cards that I hope one day you’ll join me in creating!

Love always, SMILE!

Stampin Up Need for Race Continues

Hi Everyone,

Since, I enjoyed created some masculine cards for Father’s Day, which was a few days ago, I thought why not create different feel and look using Stampin’ Up Need for Race stamp set. It is perfect to create masculine cards!

So I took the concept created a few days ago for a Father’s Day card and created three more but with different fast-fun-toys images that any guys would love to have and gave it different sentiments for different occasions. My goal is to create as many cards in stock as many as possible and I find if you like a layout, why not reuse the same concept and create a few more like it. And it still give that different look and feel to the card and all I did was add to it, angle the image(s), and use different sentiments. All the materials used were pretty much the same.

Here’s all four of the cards…

Here are a closer look of each one of the cards...

Here's the one that was posted a while back....

If you ever need a good sentiment stamp set, I HIGHLY recommend you purchase Stampin Up Teeny Tiny Wishes (127802). I always always always uses this stamp set and I always have it right on my desk and ready to use. It's just the perfect stamp set and it's a MUST HAVE! =)

And if you like these papers, they are still available at Stampin' Up Clearance Section, Travel Journal Designer Series Paper (11716). Get them before they are gone because after they are, Stampin' Up won't be offering them anymore!!! They are SUPER perfect colors for masculine cards!

I am extremely happy with the results! It was super easy to create and I can’t wait to create more masculine cards (which is always a challenge for me).

Thank you for dropping!!!

Stampin Up For Father's Day

Hello There!!!

Thank you for dropping by! Tomorrow is a wonderful celebration to show how much your dad means to you. So why not create some cards that represent how wonderful my dad is!

It is always a challenge for me to not add any blings, flowers, hearts, pearls and much much more. So this project was a HUGE challenge for me always. But keep it simple and try to take away all these nice pretty things that would make the card shine.

HOWEVER, without it, it still shine because nothing beats a handcrafted card that is made from the heart.

So for this, I try to kept it simple and made one card first and then I fell in love with the layout, so I started to create two more cards with the same color and same layout and materials used. It still created a different look and feel and all I did was changed up the colors and the sentiment.

It was so fun and YES, I had to add that cute little pinwheel which I really adore!

Happy Father's day to all those wonderful dad out there!!!

Thank you so much for dropping by!

Love always, SMILE!

Stampin’ Up You are Simply Wonderful

Hello There,

The garden continues!!! I am actually loving the hot summer Saturday during the weekend! Made me stay indoors (because it was SUPER CRAZY HOT to go outside), so I was able to craft more! Wooohooo!!!

For this card, I wanted to added a little more dimension with the

Stampin' Up Secret Garden Stamp Set (129144), that goes perfect with these Stampin' Up Secret Garden Framelits Dies (129372). I wanted to have a very soft color to it, so I used the color blue. Blue always gives me the feeling of relaxation and calming. Also, another reason why I created this because it reminded me of an appreciative person I’ve meet recently. She is very appreciative for all the baked goodies I shared with her, even though I was blamed for the five pounds she gained. She even got me a set of new stack of papers, some rhinestone, and a cute box to put things in. If you don’t know me by now, I love containers, papers, cute little things….so when I saw the box, my eyes popped and it was in my favorite color, aqua, turquoise, sea ocean-ish…you know what I mean, that nice calming pretty blue color. That was another reason why I thought of using that color for this card too. I wanted to create this to let her know and tell her that “You are Simply Wonderful”, and I was so glad Stampin’ Up has the perfect saying.

This card was actually a challenge, and this time I really do mean challenge, because I had to layer each of the flowers and hand color them in. BUT it was fun and I love that extra dimension added to the flowers as well. Don’t you….

Here is a little close up of the card.

Turned out perfect and it also represent how perfectly sweet, kind, much much more especailly, simply wonderful this person is. It’s great to meet people down the road who really appreciates the every little things you do to bring a smile to the people around you.

And thanks for bring a smile to me by dropping by and continue to do so. Thank you for dropping by!!! Hope you enjoyed today’s positing.

Mini Cupcake Cards

Hello There!!!

Crazy Saturday Heat = Crazy Stay Indoor = Crazy Crafting Day!!!

So here’s a cute (I really do mean cute) little mini cards that I’ve been dying to make. I love these cute little scallop edges and love love love cupcakes (if you don’t know, my family and close friends know how much I love cupcakes, hearts, papers, stickers, and much much more). So I was dying (yes keep having to say dying dying dying) to make these. I love baking cupcakes, especially mini ones, so why not mini HAPPY BIRTHDAY CUPCAKES cards. I want to make a rainbow of these cupcake cards, so this was what happened….

And then I got addicted making them, so I thought why not THANK YOU CUPCAKES? So it led to these….

Oh it was so fun and I was so happy with the result!!! I just can’t wait to give them out or should I give them to someone as a set….we’ll see!!!! I actually wanted to make more too!!! I mighhhhht…or this can be a project with someone or a few others!!! =)

Stampin’ Up Happy Retirement Relaxation

Hello Everyone!

It is exciting when you meet people down the road who enjoys and appreciates the things you enjoy doing. I was in training one day and I was talking to this guy sitting next to me. We were sharing our hobbies and things we like. He was telling me he created his garage into a wood shop and he loves to make mini little gifts to people. How much I admire those who can create and be creative and share their creativities with others…so inspiring. So I told him, I enjoy crafting and I love to make personalized cards for others. So I showed him some of the cards I’ve made too. He loved them!!! And asked me to make him a Retirement cards (I was of course jumping in joy from the heart hehe). So of course I would love to. It’s honestly the sweetest thing when people admire and show appreciation on the creative things anyone do.

It was a challenge to make something that I wasn’t too sure if another person would like it or not too. But, it’s not hard because when creating if you are creating something that you, yourself know that you would love, it will make any challenge easy. Or maybe I should actually say, not challenge but afraid, but then again that’s the same too, why afraid when it’s something I myself would like….so scratch that….

But any who, when creating this card, I always wanted to add these cute little flowers to the cards so I thought this is my chance to see how I want to use these cute little flowers that’s been sitting in the jar since I bought them. (Woo hoo, finally able to use them.) I added a hint of glitter to the flowers to give that cute little shinny look. And since it’s a retirement cards, I wanted to create a “relaxation” card, so I thought of the color blue and flowers and butterflies. And of course I need to add the “bling” to the card to give it that extra “relaxation” look and feel.

Stampin’ Up Array of Sunshine Card

Hi There!!!

Since the weather was so hot, might as well continue more crafting fun of wonderful beauty of flowers. So I thought I’ll make a “Happy Birthday Card”. Birthday is always wrapped with a wonderful pretty wrapping paper and then a bow on top. That was my inspiration.

This is where the creation begins. So for the “present box”, I created it with the “Happy Birthday” stamp, and then instead of a cute bow on top, I wanted it to be like this hot weather, add flowers in replace of the “present bow”. I wanted it to also be like this heat, so vibrate colors ink stamps were used to give the flower some colors and add that extra heat to the card. Take a look…I think it looked great. It’s a simple easy card to mass produce too. Just a little of hand cutting the flowers are required, but always fun to do.
