CTD273 & PP177 SU! Happy Birthday Stack

Hi There!!!

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! I know I sure did - Love spending time with my friends and family and hehe of course a few hours this weekend in my craft room.

Today's feature a new and a current challenge - Color Throwdown CTD273 using Tempting Turquoise, Smoky Slate, White, Basic Gray and The Paper Palyers PP177 "A Clean Slate" projects featuring the chalkboard technique - OOOOOOOH WHAT FUN I HAD!!

I created a set of birthday cards (originally suppose to just be one, but hehe i got addicted on this layout), so it became a set.

Here is the first card that I made in So Saffron…I twined it a lot around the Starburst Framelits Die - it was a little too much work hehe So the rest of the cards, I decided to make it without it. I made this card using Peaceful Petals, Secret Garden and used the heat emboss technique. Then I used the heat emboss technique for the "Happy Birthday" sentiment to create a chalk board look to it using Create a Cupcake stamp set. For the inside of the cards, I used Remembering Your Birthday, A Cherry on Top, and Peaceful Petals. Using sliver paper, just a tad (hehe) of glitters and rhinestone to add hehe a little blings and shininess to the card..:P And the way how I colored the flowers was, I either used two similar tone marker colors (a lighter and a tad darker) or used a blender pen to blend the color if I didn't have a lighter/darker color.

Then I created Tempting Turquoise for the Color Throwdown CTD273…(my favorite color (anything blue) choice by-the-way…hehe)

Then Pretty in Pink…Pear Pizzazz…and Pale Plum…(click to enlarge)

Here's all the cards inside…I loved how it turned out and I really couldn't resist to add cupcakes to the card! hehe I love love love cupcakes! =P And totally enjoyed coloring-in them keke Making me crave for some! or want to bake some! =P

Here is all the cards side-by-side….LOVE!!! hehe SoooooOO colorful and prettttty! Awww! A rainbow of colors…All the cards…LOVE how all these cards turned out.
